Trends in colon cancer incidence in young and older adults in Macva region (Serbia)

Objectives: Our goal was to conduct the first survey and screening of colon cancer incidence trends in Macva district, Serbia. Methods: Age-specific among > 20 years old adults that were diagnosed from 2006?2015 analyzed using data Cancer Registries Sabac Public Health Institute Linear model rates annual change age-standardized rates, by sex age presented. Standardized ratio, based on average age-specific for municipality Central Serbia calculated. Results: Based results our study, increased males females last ten years. Risk developing females, calculated standardized ratios 1.5 1.3, respectively. Linear, rising trend population compared other municipalities district recorded. Furthermore, both higher (28% 22%, respectively). Conclusion: study revealed incidence, with a linear increase cancers young also 50 population.
